Abstract
Adolescence is a critical period for the development of reproductive health,
and lifestyle choices significantly influence a girl's future reproductive potential.
This paper examines how various lifestyle factors, including nutrition, physical
activity, sleep, stress, substance use, sexual health, and mental well-being, impact
fertility and reproductive health. A healthy lifestyle, characterized by balanced
nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, stress management, and safe sexual
practices, can enhance fertility and promote overall reproductive well-being.
Conversely, unhealthy habits like poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, substance use, and
chronic stress can negatively impact hormonal balance, menstrual cycles, and
increase the risk of infertility and other reproductive health issues.
Educating adolescent girls about the connection between lifestyle and reproductive
health is crucial for empowering them to make informed choices that contribute to a
healthy future.
