Abstract

this article examines the nutritional and medicinal properties of the plant
caper bush (Capparis spinosa L.), known by various names in Uzbekistan and
Karakalpakstan. The botanical characteristics of the plant, its distribution in the
natural conditions of Uzbekistan, and its beneficial properties for human health are
described. Special attention is given to the content of vitamins and minerals in the
fruits and leaves of the plant, their impact on the immune system and digestive
processes. Traditional uses of the plant in food and medicine, including methods of
preservation and applications for health improvement, are also mentioned.
