Abstract
The article describes the beginning of the armed movement against the
Soviet regime in the Samarkand region, the protests of ordinary people against the Soviet
government, and its driving forces. At the same time, it was revealed that the development and
escalation of the armed movement against the Soviet regime in the Samarkand region was
strongly influenced by the specific colonial policy pursued by the Bolsheviks.
