Abstract

In this article, it is explained based on examples that lexical units
play an important role in showing the linguistic image of the world. It is emphasized
that vocabulary and grammatical categories are of particular importance in the
formation of the linguistic image of the world. In addition, it is said that English and
Uzbek verbs reflect the linguistic image of the world in different ways.
