Abstract
It is important for the improvement of the theory, methodology, and practice
of management to identify the main trends in the transformation of e-commerce
management tools, problems and prospects for their use, and the characteristics of
business processes in this area. At the same time, the analysis of the existing
scientific heritage revealed insufficient coverage of the business process
management specification in e-commerce under the influence of current trends in
economic, technological, and social development as a whole. With this in mind, an
attempt has been made to identify the basic characteristics and define the main
trends in the transformation of business process management in e-commerce
within the context of current business trends. The study reveals that influenced by
certain trends, constraints, and new opportunities, modern businesses are
increasingly turning their attention to the potential of e-commerce as a highly
profitable and dynamic area
