Abstract

The course of the pandemic has shown that despite the general population
risks of the incidence of new coronavirus infection (NCI) COVID-19, pregnant
women are more susceptible to the severe course of this disease and adverse
perinatal outcomes. Currently, NKI is associated with a high risk of spontaneous
miscarriages, primarily temporary rupture of the membranes, premature birth,
development of fetoplacental insufficiency, fetal development delay, fetal distress,
exacerbation of chronic somatic pathology, postpartum bleeding. The given brief
review of the literature and clinical observation demonstrate the need for a thorough
examination of women in labor with premature birth.
