Abstract

Institutional trust is people's trust in various social institutions that
exist in society. Trust should be characterized as one of the factors that support the
integrity and sustainability of society as a whole. According to the institutional
approach, trust is an element of the internal institutional environment, which is the
most important part of the theory of effective government in the state. Social
capital theories interpret trust as a socio-political value that can be exchanged for
other benefits useful to a citizen or society.
