Abstract

Transnational corporations are one of the important subjects of the international economy. They have a direct impact on new trends in international business, global competitiveness in international markets, as well as the economy of countries. This article analyzes how important role transnational corporations play in the current global economic turmoil in order to ensure stable economic growth in the world economy and increase competitiveness in the world economy, and the prospects for the development of TNCs in Uzbekistan based on the European Union. By analyzing the methods of comparative analysis, after logical deduction, the main goal of this article is to determine how the implementation processes of transnational corporations in the business environment can affect the international economic system in terms of social and economic development. The issue is also to determine the appropriate participation of TNCs in the international and national environment, as well as the potential  risks and benefits for a particular economy and other stakeholders. The goal of these efforts should be to lead to sustainable social and economic development and to improve the quality of life in the context of a global world economy.
