Abstract

Electricity-derived from the Latin word "electrics, is a set of phenomena
caused by the interaction and orderly movement of charged free electron particles.
The term was first introduced into scientific literature by the English
naturalist William Hilbert in his 1600 work "on magnets, magnetic bodies, and the
large Magneto-Earth"
