Abstract

Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a serious medical and social problem worldwide,
characterized by tissue insulin resistance , hyperinsulinemia , decreased glucose
resistance, primary arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia and hyperlipidemia , as well
as abdominal pressure, microalbuminuria and the presence of hyperuricemia in the
patient.
