Abstract

One of the main problems facing breeders is still the accelerated
creation of plastic precocious cotton varieties with high yield and fiber quality,
resistant to diseases, as well as having drought and salt resistance.
At the same time, the creation of new varieties of cotton that meet modern
requirements is impossible without a thorough study of cotton samples, of which
there are more than 20 thousand in the collection of three institutes (Abdullaev,
Rizayeva, Klyat).
