Abstract

Basically, dentists use sound and ultrasound equipment to remove
mineralized dental deposits. The mechanism of action of sound scalers is the
vibration of the nozzle rod under the action of compressed air. These fluctuations
of the nozzle are mostly elliptical. At the moment, these devices are used quite
rarely due to low efficiency.
