Abstract
This article analyzes sociological and statistical methods for studying media audiences. It examines sociological research methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and content analysis used to identify audience information consumption patterns, media behavior, interests, and needs. The article also highlights methods of collecting, processing, and analyzing statistical data. In addition, modern approaches to measuring audience indicators in the digital media environment are discussed.
