##plugins.themes.academic_pro.article.main##
Abstract
Acute viral hepatitis C in children remains a clinically important problem
because of its heterogeneous course, metabolic consequences, and potential for
severe liver dysfunction. In recent years, nitric oxide (NO) has attracted growing
attention in hepatology due to its broad role in intracellular homeostasis and
bioregulatory processes.
