Abstract

The article considers that project-based learning (PBL) and project-based methods
have gained significant attention in recent years as an innovative pedagogical
approach that emphasizes student-centered, inquiry-based learning through the
completion of authentic, real-world projects. PBL has been recognized for its
ability to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, engage students in
deep learning, and prepare them for success in the 21st
-century workforce. This
article provides a bibliographic review of the current literature on PBL, including
theoretical foundations, best practices, and empirical research. By exploring the
theoretical underpinnings of PBL and identifying best practices for its
implementation, this review aims to provide educators with a deeper understanding
of the potential benefits of PBL and the tools necessary to effectively integrate this
approach into their classrooms.
