Abstract

This article presents a detailed analysis of key clinical, anatomical,
physiological, and diagnostic issues related to inferior alveolar nerve injury in
mandibular fractures. Such injuries are among the most frequent complications in
dental and maxillofacial surgical practice and can markedly reduce patients’ quality
of life.
