Abstract

complications, including pain, swelling, infection, alveolar osteitis (dry socket), and
nerve damage. This review explores strategies to minimize these complications.
Techniques include meticulous surgical planning and execution, atraumatic extraction
methods, appropriate wound management, prophylactic antibiotics, and postoperative
instructions. Careful attention to detail during surgery, coupled with
effective patient education and management, is crucial for promoting optimal healing
