Abstract
This paper explores the application of mathematical functions in the design and
development of algorithms. Mathematical functions serve as the foundational
elements in many computational models and are essential in defining logical
processes, patterns, and behaviors within algorithms. By leveraging functions such as
linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric forms, developers can
construct efficient algorithms for solving a wide range of problems in computer
science, data processing, artificial intelligence, and numerical analysis. The study
examines the structural relationship between function theory and algorithmic design,
offering examples that illustrate how various mathematical functions are translated
into executable code. Furthermore, the paper highlights best practices for using
function-based logic to optimize algorithm performance, reduce computational
complexity, and ensure scalability in real-world applications
