Abstract

The author focuses on the role of the method of "oral history",
which takes a special place in ensuring the objectivity of sociological research, in the
scientific approaches of researchers. In recent years, the scientific debate between
social space and social reality, quantitative sociological research and qualitative
sociological research have gained relevance in the study of the intersection of
sociology and history. Analyzing the issues of the harmony of theoretical and applied
sociology in the article, the author pays attention to the dynamics of the development
of the method of oral history.
