THE COLLAPSE OF A FALSE IDEA, OR THE CONGRESS OF THE PEOPLES OF THE EAST

Abstract

The article highlights the establishment of the first congress of
the peoples of the East, held in Baku on September 1-8, 1920, aimed at liberating
the peoples, most of whom were Muslims, from the oppression of British
colonialism and bringing them under the influence of socialism, and the activities
of the Turkestan delegates participating in it.
