SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE: GYNECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY IN WOMEN: EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT METHODS

Abstract

Gynecological oncology encompasses the diagnosis, treatment, and
management of cancers affecting the female reproductive organs. Early diagnosis
plays a critical role in improving survival rates, while appropriate treatment methods
are essential to the overall prognosis. This article provides an overview of the current
approaches to early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of gynecological cancers,
including cervical, ovarian, uterine, and vulvar cancers. Key advancements in
diagnostic techniques and treatment options, such as surgery, chemotherapy, and
targeted therapy, are discussed, with a focus on the importance of early intervention
for better outcomes.
