Abstract

This article discusses the lexical and semantic features of Uzbek and Turkish
proverbs. Similarities and differences between proverbs in both languages are
considered. Thoughts on the paremiological fund of the language are mentioned. The
study of proverbs in Uzbek and Turkish languages in comparative linguistics is
analyzed.
