Abstract

In the general structure of diseases of the adult population, diseases of the
peripheral nervous system occupy one of the first places. In modern
vertebroneurology, among the diverse forms of spinal diseases, the diagnosis of
spinal canal stenosis (PC) and secondary spinal compression syndromes remains a
little-studied and debatable problem. Thus, the frequency of lumbar PC stenosis
according to J. Vegpeu's research is 11.5 cases per 100% of the population per
year, and cervical stenosis occurs in 24.6% of the population.
