Abstract

The article considers the issues of teaching Russian as a second
language in primary schools of Uzbekistan. The author analyzes the methods of
teaching Russian, presents the results of observation of speech of children of primary
school age and identifies the difficulties of creating coherent texts in Russian as a
second language. The author suggests using texts at the initial stages of education as
a way to overcome the identified difficulties.
