Abstract

This research explores the enhancement of Content and Language Integrated
Learning (CLIL) methodology to empower future English language teachers with the
professional competencies needed for effective CLIL implementation. By analyzing
current CLIL practices and identifying areas for improvement, the study proposes
specific strategies to strengthen teacher skills in content knowledge, language
pedagogy, and cross-curricular collaboration. The research aims to contribute to the
development of more effective CLIL training programs and ultimately enhance the
quality of CLIL instruction in English language classrooms.
