Abstract

This article explores the similarities between Russian and Turkish
proverbs, identifying common cultural and moral values reflected in the folklore of
these peoples. Proverbs, as expressions of folk wisdom, often convey similar
principles of life, despite differences in languages and historical contexts. The article
analyzes examples of Russian and Turkish proverbs that highlight the topics of work,
family and moral standards. The study highlights the universality of human
experience and cultural understanding between Russia and Turkey, demonstrating
how folk expressions can connect different cultures through shared ideas and life
