Abstract
Phyllodes tumors of the breast are rare neoplasms that can manifest as both
benign and malignant forms. This review article discusses the pathomorphological
and immunohistochemical features of these tumors, diagnostic methods, treatment
strategies, and prognostic factors. Key diagnostic criteria, including stromal
cellularity, mitotic activity, and cellular atypia, are described, as well as the
significance of Ki-67 and p53 markers in assessing malignant potential. The main
treatment modality remains surgical excision, although the role of adjuvant therapy
in cases of malignant tumors is discussed. The prognosis is determined by the type of
tumor and its degree of aggressiveness
